Good value for yearly plan

I was looking for some guitar lessons and JamPlay came up. I signed up for the All-Access Guitar Membership when it had a yearly discount. Got a pretty good deal, saved a good chunk of money compared to monthly. The Beginner Guitar Course was useful, felt like I got a lot for what I paid. Definitely worth it if you can snag a sale.

So many lessons!

JamPlay is fantastic! I got the All-Access Guitar Membership and there are so many lessons for everything. I've been diving into the Rock Guitar Lessons and some of the Artist Series Lessons. The instructors are amazing, really know their stuff. I'm learning so much faster than I thought I would. This is awesome, I'm already planning to renew my membership when it's up!

Decent lessons, minor issue

I tried out the Bass Guitar Lessons and found them quite comprehensive for my level. The Jam Tracks were a nice touch for practice. I appreciated the range of content. However, sometimes the video player was a bit slow to load, especially during peak hours. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but it did interrupt my flow a couple of times. Good overall value though, given the content.

Lessons were easy to follow

Signed up for JamPlay last month to learn some new stuff on my acoustic. The Acoustic Guitar Lessons were pretty straightforward. Watched a bunch of videos, the instructors were clear. It was a good experience overall, no fuss. Definitely helped me with some new chords.

Detailed feedback on my membership

I purchased the All-Access Guitar Membership about three months ago. The ordering process was smooth, I used a promo code I found. Delivery, well it's digital, so instant access which was great. I've primarily used the Beginner Guitar Course and then moved into some Blues Guitar Lessons. The video quality is consistently good, and the instructors break down complex techniques well. I had one question about a specific lesson and used their support chat; they responded within an hour and were helpful. The Progress Tracking Tools are also handy for seeing how far along I've come. It's a solid platform for learning.

are there lessons for bass guitar too or is it all just regular guitar?

S Susan Smith 3 weeks ago
They have a pretty solid section for bass lessons! My buddy uses it for his bass practice.

Yup, definitely bass lessons. Not as many as guitar, but enough to get you going and beyond for sure.

how does jamplay compare to fender play? i'm torn between the two.

H Hannah Scott 1 week ago
JamPlay has way more instructors and styles. Fender Play is good if you're super into Fender stuff, but JamPlay is broader.

JamPlay's lesson library is huge, definitely more variety than Fender Play, especially for different genres and advanced techniques. Fender Play felt a bit more entry-level for me.

anyone know if jamplay is good for total beginners? i've never touched a guitar before but always wanted to learn.

E Eric S. 2 weeks ago
Absolutely. They have a whole beginner path that starts from scratch. I was a complete newbie and found it really easy to follow.

It's decent for beginners. They have a good structured course. For me, JustinGuitar felt a little more hand-holdy at the very start, but JamPlay catches up fast.

i heard jamplay is connected to truefire somehow? are the lessons shared between them?

N Nancy Gomez 3 days ago
JamPlay and TrueFire are separate, but they are both owned by the same company now. You won't automatically get TrueFire lessons with a JamPlay sub.

They're sister companies basically. Some instructors might teach on both, but their lesson libraries are distinct. No automatic cross-over for your subscription.

can you download lessons for offline viewing? my internet can be kinda spotty sometimes.

J Jacob Parker 1 week ago
I don't think so, man. I've always had to be online to watch stuff. That would be a cool feature though.

L Linda Wright 1 week ago
Nah, pretty sure you gotta stream 'em. No downloads like some other apps. Bummer for road trips.
